The International Institute for Wellness and Integrated Healing in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is a wellness and healing institute dedicated to training, educating and promoting wellness and integrated healing.
Founded on the core principles of Mind/Body Medicine, the International Institute for Wellness and Integrated Healing is a true sanctuary for healing.
The Institute’s founder, Chris O’Banye, PhD is trained as a clinical psychologist, but it’s Dr. O’Banye’s unique life history and perspective that breathe life into the success of his methods. For a complete bio on Dr. O’Banye, click here.

We believe that a house divided—mind-body-spirit cannot stand or function harmoniously. Whatever your wellness problem/crisis is—psychological, physical or spiritual in nature, our healing philosophy is one that addresses our clients’ issues from an integrated and holistic approach.
Our comprehensive integrated and holistic assessment investigates every dimension of our client’s life and well being. We use the outcome of our client’s comprehensive integrated and holistic assessment to develop a Person-Centered integrated healing plan that targets the roots of our clients’ wellness issues and zap them.
Our clinicians empower and nurture our clients in their wellness and healing journey. We understand the last thing a client facing a wellness crisis needs is confusion and double talk. We respect the person our client is, his/her individuality, culture, religion, belief system and his/her place in life.
Our clinicians do not speak psycho babbles or medical mumbo-jumbo. We are healers! We speak wellness and healing language our clients understand.
The Institute respects confidentiality. The confidentiality of our client is held at the highest level. Our clients’ wellness and healing records are very highly protected. Disclosure of any record MUST have a release consent signed by the client and diligently verified by our clinical records department before any release of a client’s record.
The International Institute for Wellness and Integrated Healing grounds itself in the most ethical standard of the healing profession. We examine, and reexamine, our healing practices to ensure our values and healing practices match all code of ethics of healing professions.
People come into helping and healing profession for all sorts of reasons. Some came to fulfill personal needs. Needs that sometimes arise because themselves, a loved one or family member, suffered a disorder, or experienced wellness crisis (Psychological or physical).
Others came into the profession simply for employment security, prestige and financial gains. These are some of the wrong reasons to come into the healing profession. We have all read and heard about priests and other clergies, physicians, mental health and other allied helping professionals who came into the healing profession with bags of issues of their own and ended up grossly harming the souls who came to them for healing.
Healing is the only profession that one has to be called to serve in order to make a true wellness and healing difference in peoples’ life. When one comes into the profession without being called into it, they harm their clients or patients and disrupt healing process in the worst manner.
Being a healer has nothing to do with your hundred degrees and licenses hanging on the walls. It has nothing to do with hundreds of years of training. It has nothing to do with your ivory tower office. You cannot buy or train for being a healer. A healer is born a healer. Your training and education are added values and they are very important too.
Our Clinicians are a collection of the most experienced caring healing professionals in their fields, comprising of Physicians, Clinical Psychologists, Psychologist, Mental Health Professionals, Holistic Nurses and Allied Healing professionals. We are true healers in every sense.
